About

Those nine men:

– John Canty

– Dean DeSoto

– Rick Gillham

– Bill Harmon

– Tony Henry

– Joe Ludwig

– Tim Murphy

– Shane McGibbon

– Art Wallace

Community Involvement

ACRFC participates in the San Antonio CF Great Strides, and the CF Tower Climb which raises awareness and money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Beginning in 2010, a few members and former players of ACRFC began donating their time coaching and reinvigorated the collegiate rugby programs of the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA Road Runners), and St. Mary’s University (Rattler Rugby).

In 2015, ACRFC started participating in the Special Olympics Texas Fire Truck Pull. Members of ACRFC raise money with all proceeds going to Special Olympics Texas. With more than 20+ teams entered each year, ACRFC has won the competition in 2015 and in 2016. ACRFC has continued to be the top fundraiser for this charity’s event since its involvement.
